Series feedback pump

The pump mainly consists of an upper pump barrel, an upper plunger, a lower pump barrel, a lower plunger, a central pipe, inlet and outlet oil valves, a pumping rod joint, and a pump barrel joint. The upper and lower plungers are connected by the central pipe, and the upper and lower pump barrels are connected by the pump barrel joint. The inlet and outlet oil valves are all installed in the plunger.
  • Detailed Description

This product is a special pump tube pump specially designed for extracting high viscosity crude oil from oil wells. When used in oil wells with crude oil viscosity less than 4000mpa · s (50 ℃), it can be directly extracted. At the same time, when the viscosity of crude oil is high, other measures such as steam injection, well flushing, or viscosity reduction can be implemented without lifting the rod and pipe columns, and automatic oil drainage can also be achieved when the pump is started.

Structure and working principle

The pump mainly consists of an upper pump barrel, an upper plunger, a lower pump barrel, a lower plunger, a central pipe, inlet and outlet oil valves, a pumping rod joint, and a pump barrel joint. The upper and lower plungers are connected by the central pipe, and the upper and lower pump barrels are connected by the pump barrel joint. The inlet and outlet oil valves are all installed in the plunger.

During the up stroke, the oil outlet valve closes, and the crude oil above the upper plunger in the oil pipe is discharged. The volume of the annular chamber between the upper and lower plungers increases, forming a low-pressure chamber. The oil inlet valve opens, and the annular chamber is filled with oil. During the down stroke, the oil inlet valve closes, bearing the weight of the entire oil column and helping the sucker rod to descend. The volume of the annular chamber decreases, forming a high-pressure chamber. The crude oil in the high-pressure annular chamber is pushed out of the oil valve and enters the oil pipe.

The pump mainly relies on the pumping rod to drive the upper and lower plungers to move, causing changes in the volume of the annular chamber to form low and high pressure chambers, respectively, and quickly opening or closing the inlet and outlet valves. During the downward stroke, the weight of the oil pipe liquid column seats on the inlet valve, forming hydraulic feedback force, helping the pumping rod to descend, solving the problem of difficulty in descending the pumping rod in heavy oil wells, and improving pump efficiency, overcoming the phenomenon of delayed closing of the ball valve.
