The friction between the pumping rod and the oil pipe, as well as the coupling between the pumping rod and the oil pipe, causes the rod to break or trip, leading to the shutdown of the oil well, resulting in pipe leakage and oil pipe scrapping, causing great economic losses to the production of the oil field. Our company integrates advanced domestic and foreign technologies, combined with the characteristics of eccentric wear in pumping wells, and adopts two anti-wear processes: improving the self-lubricating ability of the pumping rod coupling and increasing the friction contact area. We have designed and manufactured a pumping rod centering and anti-wear device specifically for severely eccentric wear oil wells. It not only protects itself from wear and tear, but also greatly reduces the wear and tear of the oil pipe, with a service life more than ten times that of a regular stabilizer.

Structure and working principle

The sucker rod centering and wear reducing device consists of a triangular fan-shaped self-lubricating alloy spray centering body, an extended coupling of the sucker rod, and a fixing ring. The triangular fan-shaped stabilizer is fixed on the extended coupling of the pumping rod through a fixing ring. The stabilizer can slide freely on the extended coupling of the pumping rod, and the innovative triangular shape allows the stabilizer to rotate automatically, ensuring that the wear-resistant surface of the stabilizer matches the inner wall of the oil pipe.

The working principle of the sucker rod straightening and reducing wear device is that the outer diameter of the sucker rod coupling is larger than the sucker rod. In most oil wells, the eccentric wear is caused by the friction between the sucker rod coupling and the oil pipe. The reason why workpieces that slide in contact with each other experience wear is due to the presence of sliding friction. Under the action of sliding friction, the surface of the workpiece is damaged and falls off, causing wear. To reduce the wear of workpieces, the first step is to reduce sliding friction.
